The day promised to be a long one as the elevation gain to the continental divide lodge and campground was supposed to be over 2000 ft. There were two major hills that had to be negotiated, one of them being exceptionally steep. This was just before I descended a few hundred feet to the Continental Divide lodge. Alongside the ride to the Continental divide, ran the Swift River, really living upto its name!
Camped at: RV park and campground, 10 CAD, free wifi but only near office, unlimited hot showers, laundry and free firewood and a common campfire. Basic groceries and drinks and a cafe were present in the campground! The family run business was very friendly. The muffins were excellent!
